 | This model was originally designed to test changes in billing structures for a Medical Practice (Public versus Private Billing), however it is equally suited to any professional practice and can be used to test the impact of fee changes. When billing structures are altered they impact on client numbers and in turn revenue and profit. The Billing Model allows you to forecast what this impact will be. Breakeven points tell you the Client Number Change Percentage at which your current and proposed billing structures provide the same Revenue or Profit. If you change billing structures and the Client Number Change Percentage is greater than the Revenue Breakeven your Revenue will decrease, if it is greater than the Profit Breakeven your Profit will decrease. You can input an Estimated Client Number Change Percentage to forecast the Revenue, Profit and Client Numbers for your business for the full range of current and proposed billing structure combinations. The program was designed for automatic control of the time a child spends playing his games during a day. Even if an adult is not near the child, ChildCentre controls the total time and closes the program that was running if the time limit is expired. Then ChildCentre does not allow to start programs during the rest of the day.
Idea of realization
The child runs his programs only from ChildCentre. There should not be any other programs accessible on the Windows desktop or Start menu. Before using the program, an adult enters in ChildCentre list of programs to be run. Also the adult defines the total time for the day in minutes. The child can spend only that time, not more.
When there is 10 minutes left to the end of limited time, ChildCentre sounds 4 signals with intervals 1 second. When there is 5 minutes left, it sounds 5 signals. When there is 1 minute left, it sounds 6 signals. The last 10 seconds are followed with 10 signals.
The child has to finish the current game before time is out and the current program is closed by ChildCentre. If he does not close the program, it is closed by ChildCentre any way. Then the child does not have access to the programs up to the end of the current day.
The child has to be informed about sound signals when and how many signals are sounded. It is necessary to finish a game without problems. The rest time is indicated on the panel of ChildCentre. Also there is graphical indicator of the passed time.
The time is being calculated only while a game is running. It is possible to have only one program run. If you wish to start another program, you have to close the current one... |
